The Consultants' Partnership
The Consultants Partnership is a national LLP of consultants providing private medical practice in the UK. Our aim is to make it easier for patients to access good quality private care. We provide a list of members who have undertaken to provide clear quotations before treatment and to set out the treatment options. We offer a mechanism for patients to raise concerns. We do not accept that insurance companies should control the choice of doctor nor refuse to pay patients to see the doctor of their choice.
Membership of TCP gives consultants a voice to challenge the progressive reduction in benefits imposed by insurance companies. By joining TCP they can organise with their local colleagues to provide better patient care, to set their reasonable fees in line with local requirements and also take advantage of the many additional benefits (see ‘how to join’).
Newly appointed consultants and those embarking on private practice are the future and we would love to hear from you so we can offer advice and guide you through the many decisions you will have to make. We offer tutorials, discounted services and are always here to help.

Membership is open to consultants on the GMC specialist register (or about to finish training) as well as dentists.
